Hello all ,

anyone here able to get to London on Saturday 22nd October 2011 for speeches and a rally with regard to all the disability cuts ?
The rally is at City hall (old GLA building designed by Norman Foster) on that day and starts from 11am .

Anyone interested in coming and meeting fellow "sufferers" can you please express an interest by posting.

In reality this is the last chance to voice opinion about the cuts to support for those with any disability.

There are other regional events on that day and around that time so express an interest and be heard .
see...Hardest Hit Ocober action ..regional

Hope to get to the Manchester demo. London is too far for me to travel at the moment.

Update ...
Just received an email by one of the organisers which might enthuse some of you to come ...

Hi Rich, thanks very much for your interest in London's Hardest Hit
event. At the moment we are trying to secure some speakers for this and
perhaps some entertainment too. However, you can certainly let people
know that the event is to take place with people gathering from 11AM and
speeches and perhaps some entertainment from 11.30. there will also be
stewards at London Bridge Station to offer assistance to people who may
require guiding Etc.

You could also advise those who are able to do so, that they can get
updates from the Hardest Hit site. Which is www.hardesthit.org.uk

Thanks again for your interest and support

Richard

Hi Lisa ,

ooo another Gravesend NRAS forum user :).

Unfortunately due to my consultant's decision to stop all the RA drugs (MTX and Leflu) i was taking .. despite a third DAS28 score over 5 .. i haven't been great recently ..so regrettably had to miss the Rally :(.

As for groups ... there is one in Sidcup and a new one in Maidstone and also Bromley and Canterbury .
See Here for details
Welcome to the forum ,good to have a fellow 'Gravesender' here :)

hi Rich,

i was wondering if you had gone to the march yesterday,

but really sorry to hear you've not been good.

do let us have an update of what your Consultant has planned for you next as it doesn't sound good with no drugs !!

Sorry you were not able to go Rich, and sorry too that you have been taken off your meds. Hopefully your consultant has a good reason .
I am going to try the group at Sidcup as thats the hospital I go to , to see my Rheumatologist. I was at D.V. but found I wasnt getting the answers I needed unfortunetely.

Feel better soon, take care

Oh my goodness Rich! Why on earth have you been taken off the meds? A DAS of over 5 is severe and would qualify you for anti-tnf!! Do hope they are not continuing to mess you about.

Take care mister,
